Terms of Use

Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. Agreement and who we are#

In short: By using Inbox Triage or this website, you agree to these terms.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Inbox Manager Pro, LLC ("we", "us"). They apply to your use of the Inbox Triage app ("the app") and the website at inboxmanagerpro.com ("the website").

By installing or using the app, or by using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the website.

2. The service#

In short: Inbox Triage is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that analyzes your mailbox on your own computer and helps you clean it up.

Inbox Triage is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. It connects from your computer to the email accounts you choose, analyzes your Inbox locally, and lets you delete messages (to Trash or Deleted Items), unsubscribe from senders, and block senders.

Your mail is processed on your computer. We do not operate servers that receive or process your mail.

3. Eligibility and your accounts#

In short: Only connect mailboxes you are allowed to manage, and follow your email provider's rules.

You may connect only mailboxes that you own or are authorized to manage.

You remain responsible for your email provider accounts, including keeping your sign-in details secure and complying with your provider's terms. This includes the terms of Google, Microsoft, and your IMAP provider, as applicable.

4. License#

In short: We let you install and use the app for yourself. You don't own the app itself.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app.

One license covers the app on one Mac or Windows machine. Unlimited mailboxes are supported, subject to the licensing tier you purchased.

5. Your responsibility for actions you take#

In short: The app acts on your instructions. Review before you run bulk actions, and protect senders you care about.

Delete, unsubscribe and block actions are performed at your direction. You are responsible for the actions you choose to take.

Deleted mail is moved to Trash or Deleted Items. It may be recoverable only for as long as your email provider keeps it there. Check your provider's retention rules.

Review the senders and messages selected before running a bulk action, and use the protected senders feature to keep important senders out of cleanups.

6. Unsubscribe and blocking limits#

In short: We do our best, but we can't control what senders do.

  • We cannot guarantee that a sender will honor an unsubscribe request.
  • Unsubscribe verification may not catch every case.
  • Blocking may not prevent all mail from a sender.
  • On IMAP accounts, blocking runs when the app scans, not continuously.

7. Acceptable use#

In short: Use the app fairly and only on your own mailboxes.

You agree not to:

  • use the app on mailboxes you are not authorized to manage;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where applicable law expressly allows it;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or circumvent its licensing;
  • use the app to provide inbox cleaning or any other service to clients or customers, or otherwise run mailboxes you do not own through it as a service;
  • share, transfer or resell your license key, which covers one Mac or Windows machine;
  • use the app in a way that breaks the terms or API rules of your email provider, including Google's API program terms and Microsoft's Graph terms;
  • use the app for anything unlawful.

8. Third-party services#

In short: Gmail, Outlook and other mail providers aren't ours. Changes on their side can affect the app.

Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365 and IMAP email providers are operated by third parties, not by us. Their services are governed by their own terms.

Changes, limits or outages on their side may affect how the app works. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these providers.

9. Privacy#

In short: Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy, explains how the app and the website handle information. It forms part of these Terms.

10. Payments, refunds and updates#

In short: Details on pricing, refunds and updates will be set out here.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by credit card or PayPal.

Pricing is to be announced. We offer a 24-hour refund policy: if you ask for a refund within 24 hours of your purchase, we will refund it.

Updates are included free for one year after your purchase.

11. Intellectual property#

In short: We own the app. Your mail is yours.

The app, the website, and their content, design and trademarks are owned by Inbox Manager Pro, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

Your mail and mailbox data remain yours. We claim no rights to them.

12. Disclaimers#

In short: The app is provided as is. We can't promise it will never have problems.

To the extent permitted by law, the app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app or the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

13. Limitation of liability#

In short: Our liability is limited as far as the law allows, but nothing here removes rights the law says can't be removed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inbox Manager Pro, LLC is not liable to you or to anyone else for any damages of any kind, however caused, arising from your use of the app or the website.

This means we are not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the app or the website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Termination#

In short: You can stop using the app at any time. We can end your license if you break these terms.

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these Terms. When your license ends, you must stop using the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Intellectual property, Disclaimers and Limitation of liability, will survive.

15. Changes to these terms#

In short: If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continuing to use the app or the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes#

In short: Which state's law applies, and where disputes are handled.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.

You and we agree that the state and federal courts located in Denver, Colorado will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the app or the website.

17. Contact#

In short: Questions? Email us.
